Inserting a Table in Microsoft Word

First, you left click on TABLE from the top menu


Next, you select INSERT and click on TABLE


Then, you click on AUTOFORMAT


Look for TABLE CLASSIC ONE under the title bar table styles


Then, you uncheck FIRST COLUMN, LAST ROW, and LAST COLUMN. The  

      only thing that should be checked is HEADING ROWS. (This should be under

     apply special formats too).


Click on OK


Then, you change the number of columns and rows to what best suits your



Finally, you click on OK
